Working Holiday visa (subclass 417): Passport holders of the following countries are eligible to apply for this visa: Belgium, Canada, Republic of Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan and United Kingdom. This visa is valid twelve months for people aged 18 to 30 years of age and allows you to do any type of work with any employer for up to six months at a time. It also allows you to study for up to four months. If you have worked as a seasonal worker in regional Australia for a minimum of three months while on your first Working Holiday visa, you may be eligible to apply for a second Working Holiday visa. If you are not eligible for the above visa's the other option is to be sponsored into a position. This means that you will need to find an employer that is willing to sponsor you. Visa Options for people from overseas looking to work and migrant to Australia on a permanent basis. (subclass 119/857)The Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS) allows employers in regional Australia and low population growth areas to nominate temporary residents currently in Australia, or people from overseas to fill permanent positions they are unable to fill from the local labour market. Family members and any dependents can be also be included in these visa applications for permanent residence. Employers must lodge their nomination for certification by a Regional Certifying Body and the nominated position must be offered on a two year full-time basis. All workplace relations and immigration laws must be adhered to.Employees must be less than 45 years of age, have qualifications at diploma level or higher (although trade certificate with full apprenticeship is considered equivalent to diploma level) and have functional English.
