We am looking for someone who is energetic and motivated to become part of our team. We are a small family owned stud/racing stable looking for a suitable person to ride track work rider/stable hand/stud duties
Duties include working the horses,some galloping work (for the right person), mucking out, feeding, day to day help around the stables, feeding broodmares, handling yearlings/weanlings/foals, helping with serving mares.
Them main focus of the position is the racehorses thought, we have 8 in at any one time, however this does vary.
Ability to jump horses out and ride young horses an advantage but not essential. Live-in accommodation available with shared bathroom, or if you have your own car there is accommodation available on neighboring property in a shared house.
Must be clean and tidy - prefer a non smoker.
We are 20km from Morven and 80km to Charleville and Mitchell. 5 hours west of Toowoomba Qld.
We are a family owned and operated stud/racing stable/cattle station.
